Indian Summer In the mid 1960’s the Beatle travelled to India where they were influenced by Indian philosophy and religion. Sitar virtuoso Ravi Shankar particularly influenced George. This print is taken from an original painting – acrylics and oil on canvas. Through the use of vibrant warm reds and oranges and gold’s on an abstract ground I have attempted to convey an atmosphere of heat and exoticism.
