Paul McCartney portrait

Study of Paul I have attempted to convert what was otherwise a rather shallow photograph of Paul into something that has ‘gravity’ and a ‘presence’. I have used the style and technique of the Old Master painters in this painting – i.e. chiaroscuro, glazing techniques etc.
